Living in unity, working for justice is the mission of twelve member denominations as they come together as the Colorado Council of Churches. Through the work of two Commissions, Unity and Justice, official representatives of the member denominations address issues of Christian unity and interfaith relationships as well as issues of justice that affect the poor, voiceless, and marginalized in our society. While promoting unity, we celebrate diversity and the sacred humanity of every child of God.

The Sudan Genocide Response Team of Congregation Har HaShem in Boulder is committed to encouraging public awareness about the need for political action on behalf of genocide victims in Darfur, and we are eager to collaborate with other advocacy groups. Any concerned individual is welcome to join us. In the past, we have attempted to influence elected officials through letter writing, petition and telephone campaigns as well as in face-to-face meetings. We have provided educational programs for schools and for the public and engaged in additional actions, including working on behalf of young women genocide survivors whom our Congregation brought to live in Colorado.

Denver Justice and Peace Committee: Denver Justice & Peace Committee (DJPC) is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting human rights, economic justice, and lasting peace in Latin America through education, solidarity projects and nonviolent activism.

Hillel of Colorado: Hillel of Colorado seeks to engage, empower and work with Jewish college students to create Jewish community at CSU, CU and DU and at other Colorado campuses. Hillel provides opportunities for Jewish students to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity.

Interfaith Alliance of Colorado: (TIA-CO) promotes social justice, religious freedom, and interfaith understanding by organizing and equipping progressive people of faith and goodwill for advocacy, dialogue, and celebration. Founded in 1998, the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado has 13 congregational partners and more than 800 individual members across the state from 19 faith traditions, as well as those without a faith tradition.
