Taking a Stand: Youth Against Genocide

This state-wide, high school and college student conference will feature notable local, national, and international speakers in plenary sessions and panel discussions. The conference aims to empower Colorado's young adults to end complacency towards genocide.
$15 fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, and conference materials.

In Colorado, cosponsored Global Days for Darfur in conjunction with
Save Darfur Coalition and STAND.
Sponsored a "You Can Stop Genocide" reception and program at Cleo
Parker Robinson Dance Studio attended by 100 people.
Save Darfur Coalition Fidelity Divestment Day, a petition drive in front
of Fidelity office in downtown Denver. Following a press conference,
management was presented with 3000 signatures asking Fidelity to divest
from interests in Darfur.
